Welcome to Get Fit Get Lean.com

Hello and welcome to my blog!  I am super excited for the opportunity to share with you my experiences and knowledge about how I found a love for fitness and transformed by body and improved my health.  I’ll share with you what I did, what I didn’t do, how often that I worked out and what I ate to achieve the results I wanted.

What To Expect From Me

I’m a straight up kind of guy.  No tricks, lies or BS!  Just simple tips, advice and commentary on what you can do to improve how you look and get you in shape.  To help you Get Fit and Get Lean!  If you are looking for advice on how to become a body builder then I probably can’t help you.  But if you are not happy with how you currently look and want to change then you’ve come to the right place!  I know I wasn’t happy with how I was looking or feeling so I made the decision to change it.  And you can too so let me help you.

How To Get Started

Going forward on this blog I’ll be commenting on how you can Get Fit and Get Lean.  You know what I’m talking about, that “Hollywood” look-fit, lean and muscular.  Check in often for info and articles that will help get you there and hopefully entertain you as well!  Thanks and check back soon!

    Your training preferences look really good … Sounds like a tough workouts Cross fit & HIIT should get result quickly

      Ray,

      Yeah the workouts have been tough but rewarding. I have lost a lot of fat and and am getting leaner every day. I’ll post about it later and show some pictures. Very noticeable differences. Also I have been following the “Visual Impact” course that Rusty offers. It is really starting to pay off.

    David,
    I’m doing Rusty’s Visual Impact too and really like it. I think the thing that has really helped me is to track everything that I do. I keep a workout journal and can see what I did, how much I weighed, and what time I trained last year or even five years ago. It’s easier to see what works and what doesn’t this way. People at my gym seem to be amused at me writing everything down, but these are the same people that never make any progress!

      Yeah I’m tracking Visual Impact for the whole 6 months. My workout journal isn’t quite as detailed as it should be but I have taken before measurements, tracking my weight and – something totally obsessive/compulsive – taking a picture of myself everyday. I want to put the pictures into video form and show a 6 month transformation in about 3 minutes. I’ll show some of the pictures soon and have little “teaser” info on how I have progressed.

      Keep writing and tracking your progress and don’t pay attention to people who are amused by that. Things that get measured get improved. That is probably why you make progress and they don’t. I’ll check out your blog. Take care and thanks for stopping by.

    David,
    Taking a picture every day and making a slide show sounds like a great idea. Hopefully you’ll see a great transformation. I’ve just started Visual Impact as well…although I’m starting with the bonus phase since I just got really lean and I want to look my best for a few weddings this summer. I’m going to focus on putting on bulk after the summer months.

      I’m sure you’ll look good for the weddings if you go through the Visual Impact bonus phase beforehand. I’m trying to look better for summer too and in Minnesota (where I live) there is a short window of opportunity. So I’m lifting as fast as I can!
